This terrible disease I seem to have is named after the great baseball player for the Yankees, Lou Gehrig I should find out soon if I have it or not…

I saw the neurologist yesterday for the EMG and NCS tests (if I have those acronyms correct) and he found diseased neurons in my legs and arms, that is MND – Motor Neuron Disease – and if it affects the lower and upper areas it is also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The doctor will make some calls and get me into Loma Linda soon, they are well known for ALS studies. He also said I should be on some drugs, TODAY but he wants to wait to see what the Loma Linda people say.

I have been impressed with Sandee’s webblog, I will try to post more often to help others.
