I saw the neurologist yesterday for the EMG and NCS tests (if I have those acronyms correct) and he found diseased neurons in my legs and arms, that is MND - Motor Neuron Disease - and if it affects the lower and upper areas it is also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The doctor will make some calls and get me into Loma Linda soon, they are well known for ALS studies. He also said I should be on some drugs, TODAY but he wants to wait to see what the Loma Linda people say.
I have been impressed with Sandee’s webblog, I will try to post more often to help others.

The doctor I saw last week (or was it two weeks ago) prescibed XRAYs and an MRI of my neck to see if the arthritis has gotten worse. If it has, it could explain my hand twitching and weakness.. Here is a general photo of one like the one I was in, for about 45 minutes!
