Nothing much new here, but I fell (again) last week.  Diane was about to go out the front door and when she came back in the door started to open my itself and Tucker tried to escape.  I lunged at the door and fell against it.  My knee was messed up and my hands were bruised.  The biggest problem was geting me back to my feet.  But, with Diane’s help I got up.  It wasn’t my first fall, but I am more unstable now when I walk.

I am now wearing wrist supports to keep my increasingly limp wrists from flopping.

So, I am soon to be imprisoned in a wheelchair while wearing these ‘fashionable’ wrist braces on each hand and speaking almost unintelligibly.

Last weekend in Vegas was great. The Blue Man group was great, we were in the 3rd row!  We wore ponchos to protect us from flying stuff.  I got hit with a paper roll (1/2″) that was fired out of a ‘gun’.

Saturday afternoon we went to Hoover Dam to check it out, impressive structure.

We had great seats too for LOVE at the Mirage, the 5th row.  A wonderful show with 100% Beatles music.  It was a chore (for me) to climb up the stairs after the show, but I made it.

We stayed at my niece’s wonderful home in Henderson, THANK YOU RYAN AND SARAH!

This has been a busy week, and it will get busier. The ALS walk on Sunday was great, I had friends from Epson, Interbath, Melanie’s dance team and school friends, and church.  We had over 40 walkers in Green Team Doran tee shirts

My wife and youngest daughter went to see Wicked last night and took a chance with their lottery system. They won and paid $25 each for FRONT ROW TICKETS!  Here is a clip:

So I stayed home and watched Oingo Boingo’s Farewell concert from 1995, I WAS THERE! Here is a clip from the concert:

On Friday Diane and I will drive to Vegas to visit my niece.  Friday Diane and are on are own and may see the Blue Man Group, I’ve seen them before, its a great show:

On Saturday night we’ll see LOVE at the Mirage, should be great:

Oct 26 is the alsa.org walk in Pasadena.  http://web.alsa.org/goto/pat.doran
My talented niece created this logo for the 47 tee shirts that are coming. This graphic will be large across the back:

So far we have raised close to $5,000!  Its not too late to join!  The ALS walk in Irvine was a big success with about 50 Team Doran supporters, so far we raised $2,700 for Irvine, and my employer who organized it will MATCH the Irvine total! That mean I’ve raised a total of over $10,000!!!!
