ORANGE – An attempt to rescue a cat from a tree cost a 27-year-old Orange man his life Wednesday, as he fell to his death from a 50-foot Italian cypress tree.

Scott Buehler climbed up the tree about 1 p.m. to save the cat, which had become stranded in the prickly branches of the tree at Meats Avenue and Nordic Street, near the Village at Orange, according to Sgt. Dan Adams of the Orange Police Department.

Buehler managed to grab hold of the cat, but lost his grip and fell to the sidewalk below.

Firefighters were called to help Buehler, but it was too late. Paramedics from the Orange Fire Department pronounced Buehler dead.

    Story here

Dogs don’t climb trees, and have you ever seen a dead cat in a tree??

This afternoon we took Tucker to Dog Beach, in Huntington Beach.  He had a blast, the first time he has been “free” out of our back yard. Here is a shot of him running.Action shot of Tucker

I don’t usually get into games on my PC, but this one sounds very interesting, SPORE, from the guys that brought you Sim City, et.al. You start as a microbe and grow and develop into space travelers.

It should be released on Sept 7, 2008 for PC and Mac, I am going to see if I can be a beta tester for it…

I have this one for sure, during the Superbowl, during a big play my face would grimace, and over-react emotionally to the scene. This is the worst symptom I have. Maybe it’s just a pinched nerve?

    Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis

“In patients with pseudobulbar palsy, emotional incontinence may cause the patient to over-react to sad or funny things. The patient is aware of the lack of control. Cognitive impairment, if present, most often is observed in patients with bulbar involvement.”

I have never heard of emotional incontinence………

Last Saturday my son got married!  Woo Woo!  They are now in Orlando to visit Micky and Minnie.  The wedding went well, we paid for practically everything since the bride’s family has no money but they did arrange for the cake and wedding gown.  But we managed, I will post some pictures later.  I set up a couple of video cameras for the wedding and someone else handled the main one.  I will edit them down soon, I even held a mini video camera on my lap, in the front row!

    One down, two to go!
