This awaits me. If I take the 261/241/91/71, like I always do, I will hit a sigalert or two, the other route, 5/57 maybe just as bad, but without ‘formal’ Sig Alerts…

The last couple of days it has been quite foggy in the early morning. Yesterday the fog was really bad, I drove quite slowly because I could not see any cars in front of me. Normally, most cars go about 70-85 MPH in that stretch, but no one was speeding yesterday. My commute carries me over a hill, and the top of the hill was perfectly sunny, blue skys, … But, below up ahead, the blanket of fog was sitting there, like, well, a blanket!

Our little Tucker is terrible on walks, so bad that my wife comes home almost crying after being pulled by Tucker (even though he is wearing a choke collar) on his daily walks. A friend mentioned the Gentle Leader as a device that really worked for them, so, out of desperation we bought one, about $20 but we would have paid more! and the damned thing works! It has a small strap that goes over the snout but it doesn’t prevent the dog from opening it’s mouth to eat, drink, pant, play. There is another strap that goes firmly around the head right under the brain I guess. And Tucker will walk right next to me, or my wife, with slack on the leash and will respond to minor corrective tugs to the leash now. I should do a testimonial for them!! Here is a photo of a Jack Russel dog with the collar on,

I’ll try to get a photo of Tucker with it on him.
